A rare picture of Gebrehiwet wedi Himberty to the left and Mahmoud Chekini, in the middle and so far an unidentified fighter. May god bless their souls. According to the info I got the photo was taken in December 1970 in Tahera conference which was postponed because of the Ethiopian attacks and later held in Khor- Deiba in February- March 1971, it is known as Awate conference. Awate was the name of the ELF Commando training centre in Deiba. We have lost so many heroes and we are not yet free.
